For the following week ‘deception’ on a grand scale will be the name of the global game. Those who own the worldwide microphone will do ALL to convince humanity ‘they’ are on our side. But, look behind the curtain, and notice the emperor has no clothes.

Now begins the Rise of the Warrioress. As we move toward the year, 2012, the inner warrioress will make herself known, and women will take on leadership roles as never before in recorded history. Most of these roles will not be establishment, but anti-establishment.

At this time, the spirit of the Amazon warrioress has arrived from the mists of that lost age to live once again on Earth. Women warriors, and those Souls who have lived previous lives as Amazon warriors, will be shifting into that mind set, and bringing it forth to the world.

Of course, ‘those’ on the dark side who control the system, will continue to present their FALSE women warriors in the hopes that they will lead us all astray. Discernment between the real warrioress and the imitator will become invaluable.

During the latter part of the week a series of rapid-fire events will occur. These mostly staged events are designed to cause humanity to fall into a state of despair. While this result will be achieved to a certain degree, in the end it will backfire in a spectacular way.

On the economic front, this week is about surprises -- the good, the bad, the ugly. More vital to us All, is the new dynamic entering the picture. This will be the renegade factor. That is, those of bold imagination are taking hold of the economic reins, and are galloping toward a new horizon.

Trendwise, this is the week of the ‘individual’. Whatever enhances someone’s individual expression will be sought after. Because of this continuing trend, the time of mass marketing is finished, but will likely die a lingering death.

Instead of fitting into society, what now occurs is a time of ‘fitting’ society to each human being. However, be aware this is a very long process, and the soulless ones will use every evil to stop it.

This week weather could be a major problem for some. As always, prepare for the worst, and be glad whenever it doesn’t happen.

Also, if you are able, offer a loving hand to someone in distress. Such love is the gateway to ALL GOOD.

2011, A Magical New Year & Volcano's Forecast

So, what will be the MAGIC during the year, 2011?

This year, magic will begin in the home. Look for ways to make your home environment, not only more practical and comfortable, but more enchanting in appearance and mood.

Remember, there is always a special magic in preparing food. Spices, herbs, the blending of ingredients. Now is the time to bring forth a new renaissance in cooking good and wholesome foods while adding your own good, good vibrations.

Experiment with recipes. Go with the flow. Listen to your own inner chef. Your own inner kitchen witch. For, her wisdom goes back into the ancient mists of time.

Enchantment is the word that best expresses many of the new trends that are emerging, from fashion to music to a refurbished restaurant.

Allure arrives next. Instead of blatant, in your face sexuality and bared bodies, an alluring way of dressing, of presenting oneself, and using accessories will start to come into its own.

Most important, now is the time to MAGICK up your own personal vibration. This is best accomplished during 2011 by becoming in tune with Nature, especially with the natural settings around you. There are natural elements and frequencies that want to help you. They were designed for us human beings.

Get to know Mother Nature with your heart and soul. Make friends with her, if you haven’t already. Because Gaia, the Earth, wants you walking upon her terrain. Her joy is living side by side with you.

Now, more than ever, Mother Nature wants to be your friend.

Volcano’s Angelic Forecast for the New Year, 2011

2011, Where the power of the heart is released. The saying, HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS, will never be more true than during this year.

This love and ‘caring’ for our own, for those closest to us, will spread out to our neighbors, then to our local community. For, this is the key to survival and prosperity, right now.

In opposition to this profound opening of the human heart, those who are soulless will unleash devastating attacks designed to destroy our ability to love, and our ability to be compassionate toward each other.

This is, also, the year we will have the opportunity to step up, and become a cornerstone within our own world. We will learn how to rely on each other in good ways, in the ways that matter. As well, this ‘heart-caring’ for one another will become the cornerstone for how this year progresses.

Revelations of TRUTH begun during 2010 will continue at a quantum pace. However, this year, TRUTH will find its way, as led by the heart. This will occur on the world stage and at a personal level.

The weather and natural disaster chaos of 2010 will not lessen, but is likely to increase in intensity. Around the world coastal areas are particularly vulnerable.

As the year deepens, the word, community, is likely to become a buzzword because there will be a ‘mass recognition’ that we ALL need to come together. However, rather than the idea of a global village, and top-down solutions, it is time for the rise of grassroots solutions. For only, at a local level can the needs, and the heart, of each individual be met.

Look for the crash of the OLD WAY, as many institutions falter, then go the way of the dinosaur. They will not go peacefully. They will thrash and smash anyone and anything in the way like a beast gone utterly mad.

Out of these events, we will realize, as never before, charity begins at home. And, with each passing day, the world stage as presented by ‘those’ who use the mainstream media will diminish in importance, despite the constant CIRCUS CIRCUS atmosphere.

2011 will become known as the Year of Decision, a pivotal point in time that determines the course of humanity’s future for the next ten years. This is true for personal decisions, as well as those decisions that affect everyone on our beloved Earth.

During 2011, one of the most positive vibrations available to US ALL, is that of creating the ‘unconventional’ this year. Or, the mother of invention is necessity. When it comes to solutions, and forging a better life for yourself, and your loved ones, free your innovative side. It’s time to tune into your own individual genius. And, go for it.

Happy New Year smooches from the Kougar...

The Magic of the Western is Back... say yeehaw!

The magic of the Western is back, only bigger and better. Why? Because for one thing there’s a happily ever after ending. In the golden, shoot ‘em up days of the TV western, mostly the love interests would be killed off or die, or marry someone else other than the main characters. It was REALLY disappointing, I can tell ya. And, my heart hurt, a lot.

The Western Romance novel is better and bigger, now, because authors/aspiring authors have embraced the genre in every heat level. And, I mean *every* heat level, from sweet to xxx-erotic. Plus, paranormal authors are offering up their subgenre versions with werewolves, ghosts and vampires, just to give you a sampling.

Yep, pardner, a lot of readers are gobbling them up, and only wanting more to feast on. For example, Siren-BookStrand’s new line, Menage Everlasting, is based on the lustful doings of cowboys in the West and the Old West. Already, the books are top sellers. Wild Rose Press has offered Western romances for several years now. Check out Celia Yeary, author of TEXAS BLUE, SHOWDOWN AT SOUTH FORK and ALL MY HOPES AND DREAMS. Also, I’ve noticed Ellora’s Cave has jumped on board the Wild, Wild West train.

And, why not? Western heroes are definitely a natural as those alphas many of us love and can’t get enough of. They’re the type of *real* man many of us sigh over and fantasize about. Oh yeah, many of us ladies want to ride off into the sunset with our own rugged hero. After all, why should he be alone and lonely?

I cut my teeth on the first Western TV shows. I would race down on Saturday mornings as a little kid to watch Gene Autry and especially, his horse, Champion. I graduated to Roy Rogers and Trigger, the golden wonder horse. Dale Evans starred as his partner in getting the bad guys, riding her horse, Buttermilk. Now, that was women’s liberation before it came about. There was also, Fury, starring the *now in heaven* Peter Graves.

No, over the years, there weren’t many Western shows and movies I could resist. Some of my TV absolute faves ~ The Lone Ranger, Disney’s Zorro, Bonanza, The Virginian, Bat Masterson, The Texan, Rawhide and, of course! Wild, Wild West.

More recently, I think it was the early 90's, Bruce Campbell starred in an offbeat, highly imaginative Western, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. I loved that show and thought it was absolutely incredible in its scope and themes.

This post wouldn’t be complete, if I didn’t include western erotic romance author, Gem Sivad, and give a big WAHOOOO! Of congratulations to her for all of her success with INTIMATE STRANGERS, WOLF’S TENDER and A STAGED AFFAIR.

Yep, this is also a self-serving blog since my own, BRANDED BY THE TEXANS, is due out in August 2010 ~ from Siren-BookStrand. I’ve always, always! Wanted to pen a Western with a happily ever after, where the heroine rules and is just as strong as the hero. I mean it’s been a huge ole itch that’s never gone away. As a running-around-the-neighborhood kid, I would wear my Annie Oakley Halloween costume, complete with pistol. Definitely, a foreshadowing of this story and all Western stories I’d like to write in the future.

Here’s an *unedited* snippet scene, where my heroine, Kylie, is feeling Wanted: Dead or Alive... and has just crossed the dimensional divide.

Heading outside, she surveyed her surroundings as she moved to her car. A tall broad-shouldered man in a tan Western suit, complete with bolo, gassed up what looked like a Caddy. Sidling in front of her pump, Kylie checked out the directions, then unscrewed her gas cap.

“Need some assistance, ma’am?” the Caddy Cowboy asked politely. He tipped his impressive cream-colored Stetson as Kylie met his gaze. “I can fill ‘er up in two shakes of a lamb’s tail.”

Kylie blinked at the old phrase he’d used. “Thanks. I think I can handle it.”

“It’s, okay, ma’am, I’m not moving in on another man’s territory. Happily married myself.” He extended his hand flashing a wide gold band on his ring finger. “Mabel wouldn’t be happy if she knew I didn’t give you a hand.”

Kylie knew when she’d been defeated in a good way. She gave a nod and stepped back. “Thanks.” She was about to say her name again, but realized she shouldn’t be doing that anymore. In fact, she probably needed to decide on another name, and get used to it fast.

With smooth efficiency, he handled the nozzle gassing up her car. “There ya go, little lady. And don’t you worry, you’ll be married in no time.” He screwed her gas cap back on. “Come to Texas from the eastern states?” he asked.

Kylie’s brain felt like it spun, and she saw the image of whirling clothes inside a dryer. Where had that come from married in no time? Still, she’d better go with the flow. “I came from the east. Does it show a lot?”

“Yer accent, mostly. But we have a few ladies that make it across the border the way you have, lookin’ for a better life.”

Border? “I am looking for a better way of life.”

Turning on his boot heel, he tipped his hat again. “It’s right around the corner I’m bettin’, little lady.”

The Magic of a Spring Fairy

The magic of a spring fairy... if you enjoy taking a nature walk, rambling about outside, especially in the wilder areas... if you spend time gardening... you may catch a glimpse. Out of the corner of your eye, that tiny flash of movement, yes, the fae or the fairies are wanting your attention.
Or, you may be one of those lucky souls who can see the fairy folk. The fae take care of all the plants, each and every one. Oh, how I wish I’d the opportunity to grow up in the traditions and knowledge of my Celtic heritage.
I miss those ways, without even knowing exactly what the old knowledge is... but, it’s deep in my soul, and always whispering to me.
I think that’s one of the valuable messages of St. Patrick’s day, beyond all the beer, the wonderful fun parades and all the celebration hoopla... it’s a reminder of what we’ve lost and need to regain, if we are to be whole and know the whole of the world we live in.

May the winds blow for you and not against you. May the luck of the Irish be yours throughout the year. And may you know the blessings you most desire.

Khryn’s Golden Unicorn

Khryn watched the golden unicorn appear in Spring’s flowering meadow, arriving from the Mist Realm. Excitement and hope flapped her lacy crystalline wings rapidly, yet with complete silence. She crept around the Walnut tree’s trunk, peering more closely at the glorious beast, who grazed on the violets. If only she could move without detection for long enough, his gleaming golden back would be hers for as long as she wished to ride him. Well aware of how keen the unicorn’s senses were, Khryn dashed for the berry thicket, her speed like a breeze’s song. From bloom to leaf, she fluttered.

Her tiny form hidden by a cluster of daisy leaves, Khryn peeked out. Directly ahead, the unicorn’s beautiful sun-kissed tail swished with contentment. Her heart quickened it’s throb in celebration. She was close enough to wing astride him. Pausing, Khryn spider-webbed her senses seeking out the stallion unicorn’s mood. Uh-oh, he’d felt her mental scan. On impulse, determined, she flapped furiously soaring for his back as he raised his head, preparing to run. Flying with all her might, Khryn focused on fist-seizing his shimmering mane. Her legs settled on his back as he launched into a gallop. She clung, ecstatic.

Be aware of how the dark forces manifest on the world stage, but simply go about your business. Go about accomplishing those things that will make your life more enjoyable, for both you and all of your loved ones.
Bring forth the plans that will best serve you this Spring. Birth them from your soul, your divinity and your heart. Now is the time. All of life is smiling upon you and it’s that time when the wearin’ of the green is, indeed, magical.
