Sun Rocket whirled, crunched the side of his head with her foot. His fingertips only grazed her retreating foot as she somersaulted, then landed on her feet a distance away from him. Ready to spring, she waited. 

"Who do you contract for?" he growled in a low demanding cadence. 

How typical of a male to assume her lack of independence. "No one," Sun Rocket spat. "I work for my conscience. My people." 

Frik! She should never have revealed she belonged anywhere. He could be a danger to her people.
