My Sexy Saturday: White Fang, Ace Wolf Reporter II

Sexy Saturday kisses, everyone.

Once again, apologies for last week's stress-induced screw up. I gave the wrong linky info.

For this week, here's another snippet taste from one of my SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS WIPs. This is the first meeting between my super wolf hero, White Fang, and his heroine, Pasha, an Egyptian cat goddess.

Dante, my werewolf renegade, is introducing Pasha to White Fang.

White Fang, Ace Wolf Reporter
Chapter Seven ~ Interview with the Biker Alpha

A glint of amusement gleamed in his eyes, now more wolfen than human.

“Pasha.” Dante subtly nodded, indicating the catwoman in the fire-red dress approaching them. “Like what you see, Khent?”

White Fang hadn’t missed the smallest movement of Pasha’s curvaceous body from the very second she’d seductively strolled in their direction. “Enough to turn alpha.”

Switching his gaze to her, he openly stared. “She could raise the mating fur on a snake.”

Dante howled a laugh.

Okay, you should be able to slide by with the new spelling. If you really want to rub DC's nose in it, though, change White Fang's last name to "Clark." Or better still, "Reeve." (Maybe I should change Brandon's name to "Keaton." "Bale" is still too recent.)

Good thoughts, Pat... White Fang Clark or White Fang Reeves doesn't quite have the right ring to my ear, though... for an Ace Reporter.

I like Keaton. However, Brandon fits your character, even with his odd-comical last name.

Yeah, if I ever complete White Fang's story... likely no one will really care because it won't be a huge *commercial* success on par DC comics, or on the NY bestseller list.

L&B Dodge wasn't a nationally-known dealership, either. That didn't stop DC's lawyers from ordering a cease and desist on their Supermanesque mascot. I'm just trying to prevent legal forest fires. But I can't change my name to Smoky or I'll get sued.

Lynne, thanks! Looking forward to continuing.

Yeah, I remember that. Not the details. Here's my stand, not that it matters, given no real justice exists in the 'just-us' system. However, if Supermanesque simply resembles DC's Super Man, and is not the actual character, hey, lay off! Leave people alone. If your character can't stand on his own, well that's your failure. That's one reason I don't like Harlequin, they pull that crap against little publishers, who aren't even imitating them... but are simply following a trend.

Yeah, it's coming down to that. Certain words, names will be illegally copyrighted, then brutally enforced, like they tried to do with Adele. I despise big media at this point.
