Chapter Three: His Libido Was Tormented Alright

What the 'f'...?! 

Early evening, and some woman knocked on his door in the middle of the big bad dark forest? Scat really...? 

On second thought, Drev recalled when he'd been chased by a wolfess shifter. She'd been rabidly determined to explore his prowess, to put it in the most gentlemanly terms. 

But if that were the case, he'd sense predator energy. Cautious, he set his bowl down, and quietly moved toward his recessed door. He'd designed the outside cubbyhole as protection against bad weather, and from shooting enemies. 

Drev didn't open the door, having encountered female terrorists while in special ops. Instead, he stepped before the speakeasy-style peephole he'd installed on the side wall, when refurbishing the cabin. 

He slid it open. Light from the rising moon revealed the woman's extraordinarily lovely face, her tumbling mane of pale hair. Drev's breath jerked to a halt. 


Damn, what a beauty! Would he ever breathe again?
