With feline grace she offered her hand -- long, slim and tawny gold, yet not fragile. White Fang stared, trapped as images of her stroking him flooded his mind.

The beauty of her bare arm rescued him briefly. Once he met her gaze, she smiled  reminding him of a cat who had decided she wanted his affection.

“I am Pasha.”
