The Magic of CatWoman

Okay! After a day that should have been Friday the 13th with black cats crossing my path at every turn *I won't go into the gory details* I have totally forgotten my blog for today. Truthfully, I was utterly exhausted and just fell into my bed without a clue I should be writing my blog.

So, I have been working on a novella for Halloween titled Black Cat Beauty. Duly note the synchronicity, Title Magicians and dear readers.

Here is the first draft of the blurb:
A private Halloween party in a gothic mansion hidden in the Hollywood Hills. Add one party crasher, Sable Kiki, a naughty black cat with a sexy wild human side. Her assignment: find out the truth from Devon Zant, a movie star on the rise to super stardom.

For me all the various incarnations of Catwoman hold a feline mystique, a feminine power I am irresistibly drawn too, that I envy, and wish I could release in myself more.

So, for your enjoyment, here are some pics of CatWoman in all her tv and movie incarnations.
For the first person who can tell me all the names of the actresses, you will win a free PDF copy of my e-book from Liquid Silver Books, Red Lioness Tamed.

Cool idea! The only one I know is Michele Pfifer (or however you spell her name). I *think* one of the other ones is Eartha Kitt or something like that. Dunno on the third. She sorta looks like Lindsy Wagner. Now, I could cheat and search the net but I'm an honest person (and I'm also lazy!)

Hey Anitra, yep, you got two of 'em. And you would have to search the web, unless you just happen to be a CatWoman feline fanatic.

How fun, Savanna! Your new story sounds intriguing! I'm terrible with identifying actors and haven't watched very much of the CatWoman appearances--very fun idea though! (Saw your post on FAR Chatters and came over to say hi :))

Eartha Kitt, Halle Berry, Lee Merriweather, Michelle Pfeifer, and Julie Newmar.

I have far too much trivia bouncing around in my head. *cackle*

Hi flchen1, welcome. Glad you stopped by. I think the pics are just fun!

Shayla, you got it. Meow-purrrr. How do you want me to contact you? Or you can contact me at rebelromance @ earthlink.net, and I'll send you Red Lioness Tamed.

Gee, I thought Lee Merriweather would be harder to guess...but yowling-no!

LOL I'm old enough to have watched all the old Batman series when it aired. Plus the reruns! *cackle* And fortunately, my age hasn't dimmed those memories. Of course, it's usually short term memory that goes first.

Now where did I put my keys??? *snort*

I'll email you! Thanks for the book! I look forward to reading it!

Thanks for posting this over at Talking TwoLips. Catwoman is my favorite villainess! She's been played by Eartha Kitt (the best purrer), Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeifer, Lee Meriwether and Julie Newmar (I did have to cheat and google her)!

Shayla, *cackle* I watched that Batman too, and absolutely loved every moment of the campy lines and action. Pow! Zow!

Savanna Kougar said...

Yolanda, cheating is definitely in a CatWoman's bag of fishy tricks!

Seems like its raining cats and dogs in here this week!

Savanna Kougar said...

Hi Evonne, with Mel's kitty and the CatWomen, well, Anitra's cute doggie needs some canine buddies.

My dog loves cats! She grew up with three cats so she thinks she is one. Hence her trying to cuddle in my lap--difficult to do with a 60# dog!

Savanna Kougar said...

Then she's in good company. Or bad, if she's cat-napped for a hefty tuna ransome.
Yep, 60# would be too much for me. My baby doggies are from 20# to about 30#, and love to be cuddled until they want to run like little fiends outside.

Anitra Lynn McLeod said...

LOL! Actually, she's so beta, one of my cats (a 20# adopted alley cat) basically bossed her around. Kinda funny to see a cat kowtowing a dog!

Savanna Kougar said...

That is funny. Your doggie is definitely a lover not a fighter. If our one kitty could dominate our doggies, she would, 'cause that's her dominatrix nature with other cats -- so, we avoid trouble, and keep them apart.

Funny but it was never violent with the pack hierarchy. Each animal took their place and maintained it without bloodshed. More looks and hisses that got the point across. :) If only people could work it out so effortlessly. ;)

Savanna Kougar said...

Yeah, I might have a chance. I can hiss with the best of them.
Truly, I wish we humans would work it as well as animals often do.
