Greetings everyone, this is the season of magic and miracles. And I've had my share recently. Why? Because even though I am tech-challenged, I managed...with lots of help from other Indie authors...to format, then upload my first Indie book. Here's six sentences, according to the computer count, from ~
Santa Baby, Several Stars Away
Chapter Two:
Not Where Stockings Are Hung
Chapter Two:
Not Where Stockings Are Hung
Kaily hung the bow between her breasts, for now. Thinking her freshly washed hair could use more of a 'take me to the bedroom' look, she shook her head vigorously, then swiped her fingers through the long strands several times.
''Tousled enough," she murmured. Of course, who knew whether Dylan got off on tousled or not. He hadn't dated any of the single women in town, all four of them.
The gossip would have burned her ears off by now -- like a damn flamethrower -- if he'd put the moves on any of the married women.

Gossip as flamethrower - nice snippet
Hi, Sue, thanks. And happy holidays.
Fun. Like the placement of the bow. Wonder where she would put mistletoe? LOL. Congrats on your first Indie book.
Congrats on your first indie pub! Loved the flamethrower line! Nice Six, and have a wonderful holiday!
Congrats on your new release! Love the cover BTW. I really got a kick out of the placement of the wreath and the flamethrower line. Great six and Happy Holidays to you!
Sometimes the lack of competition isn't necessarily a good thing, lol. At least she'd be better armed for her date. :) Thanks for sharing!
Bow between the breasts. Nice. ;-) Great six. And a huge congratulations on getting your indie book up!!!!
Loved the flamethrower line :D
K.E., thanks so much. Amanda does magic with cover art. Happy Holidays to you!
Great 6, and loved the metaphor at the end.
Hi Joleene, thanks! And Happy Holidays.
Oh, it's her ... I saw the world "hung" and got excited. I guess that part comes later.
Let us know how your indie pubbings works out.
Sounds like she's in the country for sure with the gossips in town. Congrats on your first Indie. Pretty exciting!!
Pat, yeah, that 'comes' later.
Hey, Gem, it is exciting. Yep, Kaily is in a small town surrounded by the countryside.
I love writing romance. Any word at all can be dirty. ;)
